Dear Delegates, Faculty Advisors, and Friends,

Greetings!

It is our pleasure officially invite you to the Twelfth Session of the Five College Model United Nations conference. This year’s conference will convene from Friday April 5th to Sunday April 7th 2019 on the nationally-renowned picturesque Mount Holyoke College campus. Mount Holyoke is tucked away in the town of South Hadley in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, which also hosts the rest of the Five College Consortium including Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. We are proud to be able to offer delegates from all across North America an opportunity to be welcomed into the Pioneer Valley community.

FCMUN XII is our biggest and most exciting conference yet. This year, we are calling on delegations to “dare to engage” with non-mainstream ideas and debates within the field of international relations and affairs. Staying true to our roots as a small crisis conference, we will be providing an eclectic mix of committees that present dynamic and unprecedented ways of imagining and engaging with historic, contemporary and futuristic debate topics, organized by a well-seasoned Secretariat and Staff committed to enhancing the delegate experience.

We invite you to have a look at the helpful information and committee offerings available on the website and encourage you to come ready to challenge yourselves. Please also feel free to reach out to our dedicated Secretariat at info@fcmun.org with any inquiries.

We look forward to welcoming each of you in person and the great ideas you bring to debate, in the spring!

Sincerely,
